Same-Weekend Registration
A court order has prohibited Montana election officials from implementing Senate Bill 490, which provided statewide voter registration and voting in all 56 counties across the state on the Saturday before the Federal Election. Unfortunately, at this time, we are barred from implementing SB 490 which was passed by the Legislature to provide voters with this expanded, additional registration and voting opportunity.
